We welcome all visitors to our website and to our church, and hope that you have been fed by the grace of God. If you are considering Oakwood Avenue Presbyterian Church as your church home, please know that membership is extended to all those who have been baptized or wish to be baptized, and who confess Jesus as their Lord and Savior. The purpose of the Troy Larger Parish is to serve Jesus Christ, and partner together as one Christian family,loving one another and serving the people in Troy, New York, and beyond. We seek to join with each other inmission and ministry, specifically:

  • through the coordination of worship and pastoral care in our congregations
  • through the provision of training and equipping of our lay people for local and global mission
  • through the redevelopment and revitalization of our congregations
  • through intentional joint mission, fellowship and visioning as we seek God's blessings and purpose for all the people of Troy.
